Expenses and Financial Support

dollar The basis of student exchange is that students will remain registered at TRU and pay tuition to TRU. However, many additional fees are not paid while abroad, so the cost for a full semester's tuition and fees is often about $700.00 less than what a student would pay for a semester in Kamloops. In many cases, if planned with care, your time abroad should cost about the same as your time in Kamloops - and for some destinations, perhaps significantly less.

Bursaries from the Comprehensive University Enhancement Fund for Study Abroad are awarded on a competitive basis for students accepted into the program.
