Please note:

Exchange students planning to study for six months or less do not require a study permit.  However, please be aware that if you come for one semester, and then wish to stay longer, the Canadian government will not permit an extension.  Put another way, if you come for one semester without  a study permit, you must leave at the end of that semester.

In addition, students from some countries will require a visa to enter Canada.

Please refer to the Canadian Immigration website for complete details.

Non-Exchange International Students

Students interested in coming to study at TRU who are not coming via a bilateral exchange agreement or ISEP will find complete details of TRU's programs and services for international students here.

The first step to apply to Study Abroad is to attend an Information Session

Sessions are offered regularly throughout the academic year.
