Kristianstad University, in southern Sweden, was founded in 1977, but in this region the university can trace its roots back to teacher's training (1835), nursing (1893) and engineering (1912). Programs and courses are offered in the humanities, in social, natural, behavioural and health sciences, business administration and engineering. Highlights:
