Bachelor of Arts Degree:
The Minor Program
The minor program gives students the opportunity to include a secondary area of study--in addition to their Major area of study--within the B.A. program.
- The minor program is only available in conjunction with a program Major.
- Major programs may be combined with a Minor in the following academic disciplines: Economics, English, Fine Arts, Geoarchaeology, Geography, History, Math, Philosophy, Economic and Political Studies, Psychology, Sociology, and Theatre Arts.
- For a Minor, a student must include in the 120 credits required for the degree at least 30 credits and no more than 42 credits in their Minor area. At least 18 of these credits must be at the third and fourth-year levels.
- Please note, some disciplines may have their own specific requirements for a program Minor. Please consult the TRU Academic Calendar for details.
