Office Administration Certificates
TRU offers three certificate programs that enhance a student's qualifications and broaden their employment options in the area of office administration. These programs include advanced training and specialization in the latest technology and equipment used in the modern office.
- Business Fundamentals Certificate (3.5 months)
- Administrative Assistant Certificate (8.5 months, including completion of Business Fundamentals)
- General Insurance Certificate (3.5 months)
Administrative Assistant Certificate This program is designed to prepare students for a wide range of positions in business and industry. Oral and written communication skills, effective interpersonal skills, and bookkeeping skills are emphasized throughout the program.
Students may exit the program after the first semester with a Business Fundamentals Certificate. Those who complete all program requirements noted below may earn an Administrative Assistant Certificate.

General Insurance CertificateThis certificate program is intended to prepare students to become front-line general insurance office assistants.
