Course Requirements for the General Science Program

• General Science Degree
• Animal Biology
• Biology
• Chemical Biology
• Cellular, Molecular & Microbial Biology
• Ecology & Environmental Biology
• Chemistry
• Environmental Chemistry
• Computing Science
• Mathematics
• Mathematical Sciences
• Physics

Completion of at least 120 TRU course credits. (Up to 60 credits may be transferred from another institution).

At least 72 credits in Science courses.

At least 18 credits in courses outside of Science, including six credits of English courses.

These must include:

1. 24 credits of introductory science courses.
2. Courses that are prerequisite to the 3000-level courses referred to in 3 below.
3. 18 credits of Science courses numbered 3000 or above in one of the areas of Biology, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematical and Computing Science (Computing Science, Mathematics, Statistics) and Physics and at least six credits in each of two of the other areas. Or 18 credits in courses numbered 3000 or above from each of two of the areas of Biology, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematical and Computing Science (Computing Science, Mathematics, Statistics) and Physics
