Engineering Transfer Options

Transfer to University of British Columbia

The Faculty of Applied Science at UBC offers programs leading to the Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Chemical, Civil, Electrical, Computer, Geological, Integrated, Mechanical, Metals and Materials, Mining and Mineral Process Engineering, and Engineering Physics. TRU offers the equivalent of UBC’s first year of Engineering on a transfer basis.

Transfer to University of Victoria

The Faculty of Engineering at UVic offers co-operative Bachelor of Science degree programs in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Mechantronics Engineering. Transfer from TRU into these programs has been successful for students with an overall GPA of 3.0 or better in the first year Engineering program at TRU.

Transfer to Simon Fraser University

The School of Engineering Science at SFU offers an undergraduate degree with concentrations in Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Engineering Physics, or Systems Engineering. Transfer from TRU into these programs may be possible for students with a GPA of 3.5 or better.

Transfer to University of Alberta

The Faculty of Engineering at the U of A offers undergraduate programs in Chemical, Materials, Civil, Computer, Electrical, Environmental, Materials, Mechanical, Mining, and Petroleum Engineering.

Transfer to University of Calgary

Faculty of Engineering at the U of C offers undergraduate programs in Chemical, Civil, Electrical, Computer, Geomatics, Mechanical, Petroleum, and Manufacturing Engineering.
