Bachelor of Natural Resource Science Degree:
Cooperative Education Option:

Students may apply to enter a Cooperative Education option. Participation in the co-op option extends graduation by one year, and integrates academic semesters with paid periods of relevant work experience. The co-op will involve work terms in the private and public sectors, in all areas of resource activity. The advantages of the co-op component are that students get first hand experience at working in the resource areas of their choice, potential employers get exposure to potential future employees, and students get paid an appropriate salary during their work terms. Placement in co-op work terms is competitive and the number of jobs available will depend on the number and nature of participating employers.
