Bachelor of Tourism Management Degree
The TRU Bachelor of Tourism Management program is intended to provide management and entrepreneurial expertise to those who want to succeed as professionals in the tourism industry.
The Tourism Management degree is a four-year program with flexible entry options. Students may join the program in year one, year two, or in year three. It is common, for example, for students to enter in year three after completing a two-year Tourism or Business-related diploma.
The program combines courses in Tourism and Business Administration and offers the following program options.
- Concentrations in Adventure Tourism, Tourism Management Operations and Entrepreneurship
- Majors in Adventure Tourism Management and Entrepreneurship
- Minors in Adventure Tourism, Entrepreneurship and Nature-Based and Adventure Tourism International Development
- Honours in Adventure Tourism Management and Entrepreneurship
Tourism Management degree students may choose a General program of study or may combine a concentration, a major or a major and minor with the core courses outlined below.
