TRU’s School of Tourism and Sports Management Program

TRU’s School of Tourism offers a four-year Bachelor of Tourism Management (BTM)—graduates get the business skills, wide knowledge base, and professional credentials to advance in the tourism industry.

In addition, the School of Tourism offers the following diplomas and certificates:

  • Events & Conventions Management Diploma

The Sports Event Management Diploma allows graduates to organize sporting events at the corporate, amateur, and professional levels. Graduates will also be invaluable for tourism associations and destination management organizations that realize the importance of attracting sports events to their community.

Sports Event Management Diploma students learn the business skills required to produce a sports event as well as how to organize events, find appropriate sponsors, recruit and motivate volunteers, and successfully market the event.
