Customized Training Services

Short-term training programs may be developed in a wide range of subject areas, but TRU has particular strengths with regard to specialized ESL training, ESL study tours, ESL + academic programming, teacher training, and educational leadership. In all cases, these programs are designed according to client requirements and preferences, and typically include the following components.

Customized instruction, both on the TRU campus, at various specialized sites relevant to client requirements and/or in the client's home country.
Training may involve English as a Second Language studies and/or instruction in a wide range of specialized areas of study.
Customized programs often include cultural exchange components such as guest speakers, site visits and community placements.
Group programs often incorporate recreational components as well such as golf, fishing, hiking, horseback riding, skiing and other field trips and unique experiences.
Clients may choose from dormitory, homestay, student apartment or motel accommodation along with a complete range of trainee support services.
