Tourism Projects

The TRU School of Tourism has international project experience in tourism planning, tourism curriculum development, hotel and convention management, standards and policies, and adventure and eco-tourism development.

Most recently, TRU faculty provided customized training for 100 site managers from the China Network Communications Corporation as part of CNC's preparations for the 2008 Olympics in Beijing.

Tourism faculty and students from TRU have also conducted a series of recent feasibility and product development studies in Chile. These studies explored tourism opportunities for various Chilean sites and communities and were carried out on behalf of the Chilean government’s Social and Solidarity Investment Fund (FOSIS) and the Chilean Economic Development Agency (CORFO).
